October Projects

October Projects

October has been a busy month for Efex™…adding new retailers, shopping for new molds to add to our catalog, and projects of course! Feast your eyes on some of the newest pieces we’ve created with Efex Furniture Appliques and be inspired!

This simple secretary desk was dressed up with SC44 scrolls & R60 greek flourish rosette

This cute little table is paying homage to Wedgwood pottery with its custom paint job and T28 trim

We trimmed a pair of SC48 scrolls to fit on this piano bench, and a P9 pediment ties it all together in the middle. Efex Appliqués can be easily cut or trimmed with scissors or a utility knife to make hundreds of different sizes, styles, and pieces. The French grain sack upholstered top is just the icing on the cake!

Elegant Game Table

Anyone up for a game of bridge, or maybe wyst.

This lovely gaming table gets special treatment with simple scrolls and rosettes.  It highlights how easy our Efex decorative appliqués are to add to your furniture.

Scrolls come in pairs, so for this project we used two pairs of SC49 and 2 Rosettes R 29

Highlighting fall colors this table was painted in Chalk Paint® by Annie Sloan in her new color Burgundy.

All that is missing now is the glass of wine and a touch of cheese.

A Little Chinoiserie

Chinoiserie

Everyone needs a little Chinoiserie. This wonderful piece was done by Leslie Stocker on her Colorways blog is simply elegant. Enjoy

Lo-Res-Efex-Chinoiserie-Cabinet

To get the look, she used an Efex trim around the doors and then cut apart on of our other trims to use as a rosette. The finish was done with Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan in Emperors Silk and then gold paint for the trims. Wow… it doesn’t get much easier than that!
