I was reading one of my favorite blogs, Zsa Zsa Bellagio, and this bed from Domaine caught my eye. Oh yes, I love the embellishments on the head board and foot board. But more than the bed I LOVE the entire way the photo is styled. You have classical French, mixed in with Indian wicker. And look at the dress form in front of the window! It is totally modern, even impressionist.
This is what makes creating your own style so powerful. You can mix the classic French with any other style you want and it still looks great.
