beacy victorianThis lovely Victorian dressing table was boring brown when we found it at a flea market. Now she is off to her forever home with an entire new look.

I am not usually a fan of this style, it always seems so fussy to me. But….look at what a change of color and a simple piece of trim did to up-cycle this table.  Just the easy addition of our T19 bead trim, and a coat of paint was all it took.

The paint is a mix of Aubusson and Louis Blue Chalk Paint®. For the second coat we washed the entire surface with Pure White mixed with Artisan Enhancements Scumble and then added silver gilding wax on the drawer pulls for highlights. This color combination is a wonderful beach vibe that would look great on anything.

This color combination just lightens up this piece making it feel younger. Don’t you think?

What Efex pieces would you have picked to dress up this dressing table?
