I have a 1940s low boy and a highboy mahogany dressers. I want a shabby chic finish with white with embellishments. The only firm are beads on the bottom trim and thin regular trim on edges of dresser not drawers. I love French but not too ornate. It is painted on chalk paint white so far. I sealed the original finish. Black wax is too severe. Any suggestions? Thinking of using silver on original pulls. soft blues in pillows and white comforter in room. Neutral walls. Kind if creamy.
Interested in learning your tips Did u use gold foil on piece above. Is there sliver foil.
