There is a special look that only comes from baking in the sun. Often call Tuscan Style we can get the same look with a new product called Saltwash. It’s a powder paint additive that creates a unique weathered look on any piece of furniture! Yes, it works well with Efex.
Our first project was this french table, with an R61. Mix your first color of paint into the Saltwash. You’re putting on a thick chunky coat of paint. When dry, add your next layer in this case Old White Chalk Paint® and let the second coat dry. When you sand down the high spots, the base color come through. Voila – Kissed by the Sun.
We tried it on some of our country and coast collection of Efex. Wow, what a great look.
