Treasure Hunting

Saturday was the perfect time for a road trip to Sage Farm Antique Market in Rochester New Hampshire. This weekend was their Fall Extravaganza and our lovely dealer Maureen Bane was there with great painted furniture, paint and Efex.  She has so many great helpers in her family but since I do have some familiarity with these products it was fun to join her team and help for the day.

The star at Sage Farm this weekend was none other than our own Marion Parsons Miss Mustard Seed.  She gave two great talks and then came and helped with a live MMS Milk Paint Demo. I was great to hear her chat about Milk Paint, sign her new look book, chat about different ways to use MMSMP.

I did managed to sneak in some wonderful retail therapy. I was just over the top excited when I spied this antique plaster urn. It almost hopped into my bag, honest.

Next…. my eyes landed on this old plaster piece probably from the top of a column. However, I don’t know when we will get around to doing anything other than enjoying them as art.

Then from  Signature Finishes came these two lovely rosettes. Wow… what a great day of retail and paint therapy. Thank you Maureen and Marion.
