Furniture Moldings are Quick and Easy Projects
Our Furniture Moldings are so easy for projects especially ones that are qucik and easy.
We love Quick and Easy Project.
Today we’re bringing you Efex inspiration from the world-wide web.
These three projects are so quick and easy and just in time for spring. Clearly everyone has warmer weather on their minds since there are two more clay pots with Efex on them!
The first set is from our dealer Signature Finishes in Grafton. Clever Maureen even does a workshop using Efex. If you’re in the Massachusetts area, you should look into her workshops, we can guarantee they are tons of fun!

The next two are from The Whole Shebang by Nina in Australia.

First there is this really cute red plant pot decorated with a C45 corner… but what really caught our eye is this simple yet totally elegant side table.

All she used was a pair of SC4s and paint to give this table a truly wonderful makeover.
With over 170 products you transform just anything under the sun. Download our free catalog today, or go to a dealer near you for even more design help.

9 easy ways to elevate your garden style with Efex Moldings
It doesn’t matter if your garden style is herbs in your kitchen or a full vegetable patch outside. Big or small, using Efex bendable moldings and a little paint can elevate your garden’s style. You can even use our moldings for flower vases, to add a little unique touch to your planting table, or flower display.
You can use any old pot, terracotta, plaster, fiberglass, plastic, all work for a redo. It’s a bonus when the pot is big and you’re still able to lift it!
Here are 9 great examples we’ve seen over the years on how to Efex your outside world.
When we first began distributing Efex, we did a series of small clay pots, and then the windows boxes in front of the store.

We followed up a few weeks later on the clay pots and they were still in great shape. I am happy to report that two years on they are still in great shape. Our T36 trim is just perfect for the window boxes.

Down under our Australian and New Zealand distributor did the same thing in her garden with a stunning effect. They have lived outside full time through a raining New Zealand winter and are still perfect. The one on the right has shells from the Coastal Collection and the one on the left has just one simple T30.

And speaking of down under, we can not forget these stunning elegant planters from New Zealand using P15 and D4s.

My friend Margret Wolley has had this pot outside in the New Zealand weather for about 5 maybe six years and it’s still going strong. She used elements from the Country Collection for a layered look.

Back here in the USA our good friend Matthew Mead has done some great outdoor work with Efex.

From this fun Adirondack chair

to these fabulous pots. Matthew always adds style to every project he touches.

This lavender pot was a great success. Using a fine stone additive and then painting, she really added to the total authenticity of this project. It really did look like an old clay pot when it was done. One simple T9 made all the difference in the world.

One of our all-time favorites is from our recent mention in This Old House magazine.

This project which recreated federal flower boxes using R39, D8 and SW21 was just terrific.
Which one is your favorite? We would love to hear your comments, or if you like to share on Pinterest.

I recently had the privilege of being invited to a new friend’s house to have a look at some of the work she’s done using Efex Appliques in her home. Let’s just say I was blown away!! One of the best parts about this job is seeing the amazing things that people create with our products.
With Sharon’s permission, I’m sharing with you some of the beautiful pieces that she has created over the years. Sharon has been using Efex for quite a few years now, so this was indeed a ‘blast from the past’. Each piece was lovely and fit perfectly into her gorgeous home. Sharon shared four pieces in all and I will add them to this page over the next week — I’d hate to reveal everything all at once!

This first piece is actually two…these black tin vessels have been transformed from simple to sophisticated with a few different Efex styles. While they’re currently being used as some of the world’s fanciest rubbish bins(!), they would be beautiful for displaying flowers or nestled next to the fireplace holding pinecones.

Sharon used Pediment P12N (P15 in the US and Canada) and an older style drop similar to D4. Sometimes a different look is just about using the mouldings in a different way. By turning the P8N pediment ‘upside down’ and using it as a swag, she’s achieved something just a bit different.

Sharon really has a wonderful French Style In New Zealand More to come soon so check back in….
